Sound like a good start for a restaurateur? Yep, along with all of the above, this was also a guy with a big appetite-the likely reason for his decision to open his first steakhouse, in Calgary, in 1956. It was the beginning of an empire of tenderness and great taste. Hy Aisenstat's Only would become part of the country's fine-dining language.
