Only in an idyllic waterfront community like Horseshoe Bay could a restaurant like Troll's have been born and thrived for almost 60 years. But who among us has not made the journey, loaded up with fish and chips, with crab and other seafood that has made this place a fixture, and one of our proud, west-coast eating icons. Joe Troll started it all in 1946 and three generations later, right along from one of the world's busiest ferry terminals, it's still going strong.
