Louis Stervinou

This man came to Vancouver via his native Brittany, New York, Miami, Los Angeles and Honolulu-the Royal Hawaiian and the Ilikai. In 1966, Coley Hall was renovating the Devonshire Hotel and called on our next inductee to come on over. It was the beginning of the Carriage Room, and in 1972, the Dev Seafood House. In 1976, Ondine's, which remained until it was expropriated to make way for EXPO 86. In 86, in partnership with Peter Toigo, he created Nat Bailey's in the BC Pavilion, then the BC Club on the Plaza of Nations. Louis Stervinou loved the best, but best of all, he loved his customers. Accepting for Louis Stervinou is his wife Jeannie and his son Louis Jr.
