BC Restaurant Hall of Fame nominees react to their nomination

Joy Metcalfe — I'm absolutely thrilled, amazed and honoured on being nominated as a Friend to the Industry. I've been writing columns about food, hospitality and accompanying entertainment since 1972. My very first column was in Ed Keate's Gastown Guardian in May of 1972 where we were endeavouring to entice more people to dine and enjoy the sights and sounds of Gastown. A very long time ago! Again my deepest thanks and sincere appreciation for the nomination... Joy
